How can I actually hear God's voice?

By Matthew (Tolu) Olowoyeye

Scripture

John 10:27; Psalm 119:105

God still speaks, mainly through His Word — the Bible is His clearest, most reliable voice. As you read it prayerfully, the Holy Spirit brings verses to mind, convicts, comforts, and guides. He also speaks through a settled inner peace, wise counsel from mature believers, and circumstances. His sheep know His voice because they spend time with Him. Anything that contradicts Scripture is not from God. Slow down, get quiet, read, and listen — His voice grows clearer with practice.

Prayer

Father, thank You for meeting me in my questions. Give me wisdom to understand Your truth, faith to trust You where I cannot yet see, and grace to walk it out today. Anchor my heart in John 10:27; Psalm 119:105. In Jesus' name, amen.
