Prayer for the Week
Divine Direction, Presence and Purpose
Divine Direction, Presence and Purpose
Psalm 32:8; Proverbs 3:5-6; Isaiah 45:2-3; Psalm 37:23
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of a new week and for the mercy that has brought us this far. We commit every day, every decision, every journey, every responsibility, and every expectation into Your capable hands. Go before us and make every crooked path straight; order our steps, sharpen our discernment, and help us to recognise the doors You are opening. Let Your presence rest upon us in our homes, workplaces, businesses, schools, ministries, and relationships. Where there is confusion, bring clarity; where there is weakness, release strength; and where there is fear, establish unshakable faith. May we not run ahead of You or fall behind Your purpose, but walk closely with You throughout this week.
Divine Protection, Provision and Intervention
Psalm 121:7-8; Isaiah 41:10; Philippians 4:19; Psalm 91:9-11
Lord, stretch forth Your hand of protection and provision over us and everyone connected to us. Preserve our going out and our coming in, shield us from accidents, sickness, evil intentions, costly mistakes, and every unseen danger. Let peace reign in our homes, healing flow through our bodies, wisdom guide our conversations, and favour speak for us where our strength cannot reach. Bless the work of our hands, open legitimate doors of opportunity, supply every need, and give us grace to manage faithfully whatever You entrust to us. Remember those carrying silent burdens, those waiting for answers, those facing financial pressure, family challenges, grief, rejection, or uncertainty; let this week bring timely help, divine intervention, and renewed hope.
Spiritual Growth, Transformation and Divine Completion
Romans 12:2; Philippians 1:6; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Colossians 1:9-10
Father, above every material blessing, draw us closer to You and make us more like Christ. Purify our motives, strengthen our prayer lives, increase our hunger for Your Word, and help us to respond to people with love, patience, courage, and integrity. May our lives become channels of encouragement to the weary, wisdom to the confused, and hope to those who feel forgotten. Complete every good work You have begun in us, turn delays into preparation, battles into testimonies, and opportunities into platforms for Your glory. Let this week not end in sorrow, regret, or defeat, but in gratitude, progress, peace, and undeniable evidence of Your faithfulness. In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
