Rooted in the Word

The Berean exists to help ordinary people read, understand, and live the Scriptures — with the eagerness and care of those first believers in Berea.

Our name

When Paul and Silas arrived in Berea, Luke records that the people there “were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true” (Acts 17:11). That posture — eager, humble, and rigorous — is the spirit we hope to cultivate.

What we do

We publish devotional writing in the Journal, offer the whole of Scripture in a clean, searchable Bible reader, and teach structured, self-paced courses through the Berean Bible Academy — where you can track your progress and earn completion certificates as you grow.

Examine everything

Like the Bereans of Acts 17, we test every teaching against Scripture itself.

Word-centered

The Bible is our foundation — not opinion, trend, or tradition alone.

Formed, not just informed

Knowledge is meant to shape the heart and the life, not fill the head.

Every stage welcome

From first questions to lifelong study, there is a place for you here.
